SUFFERING FROM FATTY LIVER?
Understand Root Cause of Fatty Liver & take control of it.
Fatty liver, affecting over 40% of the global population, occurs due to fat deposits in the liver. The condition can be caused by excess alcohol (Alcoholic Fatty Liver) or high fructose intake (Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver).
While the liver can handle 20-25ml of alcohol or 20-25g of sugar daily, modern lifestyles often exceed these limits, overwhelming the liver's ability to heal itself.

How to combat Fatty Liver?
This can be personalized to you based on your blood test
- Limiting the fructose and alcohol consumption to not more than 20-25g or ml. Both should be avoided together. You can have alcohol once a week, and fructose once a week on any other day if you cannot eliminate them from your diet completely owing to urges and pangs.
- Consume plenty of cruciferous vegetables and bitter vegetables like Bitter Gourd while avoiding carbohydrates. For clearing fatty deposits, liver needs a balanced sugar profile in the blood and having a low carbohydrate diet would enable the liver to have a favourable environment to cleanse itself of excess fats
- Milk thistle: This supplement is a potent antioxidant that can help protect the liver and improve its function. The typical dosage is 150-250 mg, taken two or three times a day.
- Turmeric: Turmeric contains a compound called curcumin, which has anti-inflammatory properties and can help protect the liver. The recommended dosage is 400-600 mg per day
- Tocotrienols: Tocotrienol E has been shown to help reduce inflammation and improve liver function. The recommended dosage is 400 IU per day.
- Artichoke extract: Artichoke extract can help stimulate the production of bile, which is necessary for the digestion of fats. The recommended dosage is 500 - 1,500 mg per day
